Oh okay, that makes sense. You have no idea what causes the problem or how to fix it but we should let you sift through our server files at your leisure to arbitrarily decide on changes to make to our setups that will almost surely result in no actual solution to the problem since, again, it was stated by an actual Valve developer that the problem occurs due to a bug in the Source engine itself?

The point of these repeated posts is to hopefully gain the attention of an actual CS:GO developer so they can hopefully take time away from shipping us shitty new clusterfuck maps and pointless UI updates, since Panorama is supposed to be on it's way, and actually fix a real bug that has been being reported for going on 5 months now.

I don't know where you get that much salt! Dead sea? I am just trying to help here, nothing else. I run a 2.4K+ player community and not a single player of mine face this issue. And again the offer was for darulo, not for you.

Anyone still having this max edicts bug, can you confirm that in a 128 tick server you are forcing the following params:
sv_minrate 198000
sv_mincmdrate 128

Haven't tried 128 tick but this does happen on 64 tick servers and I doubt it's related to rates..

For me it happens when creating new entities ingame such as trigger_multiple's and it's no way near the limit. It can happen on any map and any time when creating new entities.

Still happening. I've experienced it on 64, 85.3, and 128 tick. All with correct rates. 

For me it usually happens right after the server loads a map or reloads the same map. I've only had it happen on custom maps, not on any official. But like Darulo mentioned, the game/map is nowhere near it's entity limit. 

Again, around the time this issue started (Gloves update, November 2016), TF2 had the same issue and their dev John S. made a post stating it was an old engine typo which they fixed rather quickly after it was noted. Should be an easy fix for the CS:GO devs since another Valve development team already knows the solution.

New update today, issue still going on, I've thought that my server is free of this bug and never really bothered about it, but I tried to change a map to a different one on my server and I got this error, I thought the server crashed, but it seems only I was affected.

What's the point of those posts? Trying to make things change, letting valve know it's not just a minor issue affecting a few individuals, but all of the servers in general, no exceptions. I thought my server was the exception, I was dead wrong.

This doesn't affect my servers. Then again, my servers aren't bloated with custom content that takes 1 hour to download.
